Chicago rapper, G Herbo, announced today that he will be creating a mental health platform entitled “Swerving Through Stress: Tools to Help Black Youth Navigate Mental Wellness,” according to a recent report by Chicago Reader.
The 24-year-old’s music label, Machine Entertainment Group, collaborated with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and InnoPsych, to provide free therapeutic sessions for black youth between the ages of 18 through 25. G Herbo also expressed that he was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder on his latest album, “PTSD.”
